Terms of Use

1. What this is
Supreme Cortex Academy is an educational software service for learning preliminary process design and fault-detection concepts. It generates simulated designs, data and results using textbook methods and public-domain engineering correlations.
2. What it is not
The service and everything it produces (designs, drawings, reports, simulations, scorecards) are preliminary and educational. They are not engineering deliverables and must not be used for the design, modification, operation, maintenance or safeguarding of real equipment or facilities, and must not be connected to, or used to make decisions about, any control or safety system. Nothing in the service constitutes professional engineering advice.
3. Your account
One free account per person, for personal educational and non-commercial use. Keep your credentials to yourself. Free accounts include a monthly number of design cases and fair-use limits per project and per day; we may adjust these limits, and we may suspend accounts that script, resell, or abuse the service.
4. Your content
Files you upload (such as filled design templates) are processed to run your project and are automatically deleted from run storage after a period of inactivity. Do not upload confidential, proprietary or personal data; the service is designed for coursework, not for real plant data.
5. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and may change, break or be withdrawn at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Supreme Cortex Technologies accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the service or reliance on its outputs. Your sole remedy is to stop using the service.
6. Intellectual property
The service, its engine, branding and content remain the property of Supreme Cortex Technologies. You keep the rights to data you upload, and you may use the files generated for your own projects freely in your coursework and research with attribution.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the version identifier above will change and you may be asked to accept again. Questions: info@supreme-cortex.ca.
